【摘要】本文主要分析了中国流行音乐的发展历程和当代流行音乐的发展现状，以及流行音乐的功能性。从历史中我们可以总结出流行音乐和社会环境之间的发展关系。当代流行音乐音乐存在的主要问题就是，网络歌曲的横行，口水歌泛滥。窃用旋律和节奏的现象普遍存在，导致很多歌曲都是千篇一律。流行歌曲的创作上，缺少大量人才，很多流行歌曲内容无味、庸俗，谈不上任何美感。曲内容创作风格和题材都太单一，缺少自我创新。流行音乐具有艺术性、娱乐性和商业性，而娱乐性和商业性又存在着必然的关系。本文主要通过对当代流行音乐的现象来分析流行音乐存在的问题。
