Abstract：Family is the elementary unit of society. Everyone begins to receive the affection of our family since we are born. Family value and education has a great influence on everyone. Generally, our behaviors embody the values and education of our family. We receive education from our parents first, and individual values are closely related to the family values. Anyway, the features of the family reflect the ones of society. The values of the families have direct influence on the speech and behaviors of the family member. In a word, the value of the whole society depends a lot on family value.

　　　Marriage is the beginning of a family, the family members which are connected by marriage are the basic unit of a family. Under the background of different family values, there are great differences in the life style and ethics conception of family members. This article takes the family values of China and America for example, aiming at revealing the influences of family values on marriage and ethics in order to achieve better cross-cultural communication.

摘要：社会的基本单位是家庭，我们每个人在出生之际，便开始受到家庭的影响，家庭观念和家庭的教育对人的发展有很大的影响。我们每个人的行为也是家庭观念和教育的缩影，每个人最初所接收的教育是从父母所给予的家庭教育开始的，我们的个人观念也和家庭观念有着密不可分的联系。所以从家庭这个小集体的特点中，我们可以观察到一个社会的人的特点。家庭成员的价值观念直接影响着他们在社会中的言语和行为,也就是说整个社会的价值观很大程度上取决于家庭价值观。

　　  婚姻是家庭的开始，而婚姻关系所联系的家庭成员是家庭的基本组成单位，不同的价值观下，家庭成员的生活理念和伦理关系有很大的区别。本文通过选取中美两国的家庭价值观为范例，分析家庭价值观对婚姻，家庭成员关系和伦理，生活方式的影响来揭示中西家庭观念的差异，从而实现更好的跨文化交际。
