Abstract：The study aims to investigate the ethnic cultural differences between the Chinese and American animation industry from the perspective of the influence which national and traditional cultures have on the Chinese and American animations. The research is to analyze the meanings and the values of ethnic features in animation productions scientifically. The results show the differences in the animation elements of the connotations, the languages and the design concepts between China and America under the background of the animation industries' expansion. The paper finds out the material differences of national cultures in Chinese and American animations by means of the animation art forms.

摘 要：本文以中国和美国的动画为研究对象，旨在在大力发展动画产业的背景下，从民族文化和传统文化对中国和美国的动画产生的影响中探讨其中的差异,科学的探讨动画作品中民族性特征的意义和价值。笔者将在前人研究的基础上，现实地分析中国和美国动画作品的内涵，语言，设计思想等富有民族文化等特点的动画元素，借助动画艺术形式认清民族文化在中国和美国动画中的实质性差异。
