ABSTRACT:Shelley and Byron were two famous poets in nineteenth century; both of them were regarded as “Binary Stars” of British Literature History and two shining brilliant stars of European Romanticism. In the history of literature, many people have researched about them, especially on the comparative study area. Both of them used their poems as weapons to expose the dark side of the society, meanwhile, they paid tribute to freedom and nationalism. Their poems showed us living vitality and intense affection. They are one part of the most romantic and revolutionary masterpieces in worldwide literature. Both of them were romantic poets with similar parentages, comparable ideas, and from the same social environment, so they had much common ground. However, their different characters and experience made differences in their works.

摘  要:拜伦和雪莱同是英国 19世纪的两位著名诗人, 并称为英国浪漫主义诗歌的“双子星座”, 欧洲浪漫主义文学的杰出代表。在文学史里面，有很多人对他们进行了研究，尤其是在对比研究的领域。他们以诗歌作为武器, 对当时黑暗的社会现实进行批判和嘲讽, 热情歌颂自由和解放。他们的诗洋溢着鲜活的生命力和强烈的感染力, 是世界文学史上最富有革命性和浪漫性的杰作之一。然而 ,同为积极浪漫主义诗人 ,拜伦与雪莱的创作也是各有千秋 ,呈现出极大的可比性。相似的出身、共同的理想、一样的社会大环境铸就了二人创作中的许多通合; 而性格的不同和经历的相异又造成了两人创作中的不少差异。
