Abstract: With the rapid development of economic globalization and the prosperity of international business, the study of cross-cultural communication has great significance to both international business communication and the development of Chinese economy. From a cross-cultural perspective, based on a comparative and analytical method，this thesis analyzes five factors about the cultural differences between the East and the West: verbal behavior, values, modes of thinking, customs and the ways of communication. In the end, the thesis concludes that in the context of cultural diversity we should cultivate awareness, respect and reconciliation of cultural differences between the East and the West to avoid mistakes and have a better understanding about each other in cross-cultural communication

摘要：随着全球经济一体化的加速发展，各国商务活动日趋繁荣。跨文化交际研究无论对于国际商务活动还是中国经济的迅猛发展都有深远而重大的意义。本文从跨文化视角，以对比分析的方法，从商务交往的五个方面分析了中西文化的差异性：语言习惯差异、价值观和思维方式的差异、风俗习惯和交际方式的差异。文章最后指出，在文化多样性的背景下，我们应该增强文化差异意识,尊重和融合中西文化差异以避免冲突,在跨文化交际中更好的了解对方。
