Abstract:This is a research paper about English writing of the rural middle school students. The compositions which I collect are from the students in Grade Two of Hujia Middle School in Baoshan City. According to analyze the compositions, I find the universal mistakes in their compositions mainly embody vocabulary, sentences, context and mistaken expression. The reasons which cause these mistakes are teaching methods, learning conditions, cultural difference and learning attitude. At last, I put forward four solutions: enlarging vocabulary and mastering the use of words and phrases, reciting the good sentences, adapting the textbook and imitating the excellent compositions, rectifying the teaching attitude and encouraging students.

摘要:本文是一篇关于农村中学生英语写作的调查报告，这些作文来自胡家中学初二年级学生的作文。通过分析这些作文我总结出作为农村中学的学生在英语写作中常见的错误有四个方面即：词汇，句子，上下文联系以及表达方式错误。而出现这些错误的主要原因有教学方法，学习条件，文化差异和学习态度。最后提出解决方法，有扩大词汇量，掌握单词和短语的用法；背诵并运用一些好的句子；改写课文或仿写优秀作文；端正态度，鼓励学生写作文。
