Abstract：This thesis aims to analyze the features of translation of Chinese tour commentaries that are differentiated from general translation by presenting some examples. Meanwhile, the thesis discusses the translation principles of Chinese tour commentaries and the translation techniques are proposed, including amplification, omission, rewriting, comparison and analogy and so on so that the Chinese culture can be advocated well and our country’s development of tourism industry can be promoted quickly.
