ABSTRACT

 By researching and sorting out a lot of details in The Adventure of Tom Sawyer, the author of this paper analyzed the Tom Sawyer’s characteristics and the reasons for such characteristics mainly from the following aspects: his family background, the social background and the education system and other details in the novel. The analysis of the hero Yom Sawyer in this paper intended to reflect favorable image in The Adventure of Tom Sawyer ---- his spirit of justice, his spirit adventure and his bravery, which is the charm of Tom Sawyer and the book.
