ABSTRACT

The Revenant is written by Michael W. Punke who is an American wtiter. This novel mainly talks about Glass, the main actor, is a tough person. He is encountered with an accident that he is attacked by a grey bear. So he almost dies. However, Glass survives by virtue of his strong will after abandoning by his parter, Fitzgerald. Then he decides to hunt this bad guy and take a revenge. This thesis is going to discuss the personalities of the main character, Glass, in the well known novel, The Revenant. The emphasis would be put on the three images of Glass: courage, calmness as well as perseverance. Thanks to these personalities, Glass ends up surviving and launches epic revenge activity.
