Abstract: With the rapid development of Internet, Internet neologism has been born and attracted the attention from different fields. This paper first analyzes the features of the Internet neologism from the aspects of creativity, productivity, vividness and humor and economical efficiency, and then discusses the social factors influencing the Internet neologisms, under the theoretical framework of the Meme theory, in terms of politics, economy, culture and science hoping the readers will understand the Internet neologisms better and use them in a positive and rational way to achieve success in their communication with others.
