Abstract: This article is based on the Skopos theory, analyzing some film titles of the classic English film and classic English animation and their Chinese translation. The paper puts forward three pilot translation methods for the future film title translation. That is Literal Translation, Free Translation and Creative Translation. Under the guidance of teleology, the translator can play its subjective initiative, considering the type of film, characters, and different plot, through which you can give better translations for more audiences, contributing to the commercial values of films.
