Abstract:In recent years, with the in-depth reformation and opening in China and the speeding up of the process of the global economic integration, English, as one kind of the international language, has become more and more important, especially the oral English. Oral English is so useful in the international communication that it can not be neglected. 

   However, because oral English teaching is one of the most difficult parts of the whole teaching process, there is still a lack of effective teaching method in our country to arouse students' interest in learning and greatly improve their oral English ability. Therefore, in order to greatly improve the students' oral English level, college oral English teachers need to continuously explore and practice, adopting reasonable effective teaching methods to teach oral English. Based on the situated theory, this thesis aims to design a kind of oral English teaching model by analyzing the existing problems of the traditional college oral English teaching model. What's more, the advantages and features of applying this teaching model will be deeply discussed and explained.

摘要:近年来,随着中国改革开放的不断深入及全球经济一体化进程的加快,英语作为一种国际性语言,越来越发挥着它重要的作用,尤其是英语口语,它作为一种在国际中通用的语言交流工具,它的作用不容忽视。

   然而,由于口语教学是是整个教学环节中难度最高的其中一环,我国大学的口语课堂依然缺少行之有效的教学方法来激起学生的学习兴趣以显著提高其口语能力。为此,为了能最大限度提高大学生的英语水平,这就需要大学英语口语教师们不断探索和实践,采取合理有效的教学方法来进行教学。本文通过分析以往传统的大学口语教学模式存在的问题,以情境教学理论为基础,设计出一种英语口语教学模式,并对该教学模式在大学口语教学中应用的优势和特点做出深入的研究和探讨。
