Abstract：Jane Austen is a famous female English novelist in the early 19th century. Her novels focus on the marriage and life of women from squire families. Marriage and love is the forever issue of human society. Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is the most well-known novel concerning this issue. This thesis tries to figure out Jane Austen’s marriage view by comparing the main women characters’ different personalities and marriage status and analyzing the relevant social background, women’s status and the great impact of money in the author’s time, combining with the author’s life experiences.

　　　The novel describes five marriages and portrays five totally different women characters. Mrs. Bennet is the representative of women who treat marriage as the whole life business as she has no mutual understanding with Mr. Bennet; Charlotte Lucas sacrifices her own feelings for material securities and her husband Mr. Collins is a talkative and stupid man in possession of certain properties; Lydia is naïve and out of responsibility, her marriage is likely to be sad as she and Mr. Wickham both are pursuing sexual desire; Jane and Mr. Bingley have true feelings about each other, but they are too passive to be impacted by others; Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy are a perfect match and their marriage is the most ideal one.

　　　Through the presentation and analysis of five couples, this thesis summarizes different women characteristics and marriage views represented by the five women. At the same time, this thesis also has a discussion about the impact of money in marriage. The marriage view of Jane Austen in Pride and Prejudice still has realistic significance and inspires people to pursue their own ideal marriage.

摘要：简·奥斯汀是18世纪末19世纪初英国著名女小说家，她的作品主要关注乡绅家庭女性的婚姻和生活。婚姻与爱情是人类社会永恒的话题，在这类主题的文学作品中，简·奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》可以说是最为全世界读者熟知的一部小说。本文通过对《傲慢与偏见》深入分析并结合作者生平，对简·奥斯汀在其中表达的婚姻观进行了深刻探讨，并在这部小说对乡绅家庭女性婚姻和生活的描写中寻找线索，通过对主要女性人物形象及其婚姻结局，以及其所处时代的相关社会状况，妇女地位，金钱主导作用的分析，多角度进行分析，进一步探究作者所要表达的婚姻观。

　　　在这部小说中，简·奥斯汀围绕贝内特一家描写了当时英国乡绅家庭女性的几段婚姻，塑造了几个截然不同的女性形象。贝内特太太是以婚姻为人生全部的女性代表，她和贝内特先生的婚姻毫无共同语言；夏洛特是为了获得现实物质保障而牺牲自己真实情感的女性，她嫁给了夸夸其谈愚蠢无趣但拥有一定财产的柯林斯先生；丽迪亚则是无知冲动只图一时的肉欲，虽然最后她和奸猾的韦翰先生结婚了，他们的婚姻也很难幸福；简善良温柔，彬格莱先生温文尔雅，他们对彼此都怀着真情，但对感情和婚姻都太被动，容易被世俗的意见影响，不能坚持自己的选择；伊丽莎白魅力聪慧有自己的见解，达西先生表面傲慢，实际上待人真诚，为了争取自己的爱情坚持努力，他们是最理想的一对，他们的婚姻也因为建立在彼此真挚的爱情基础上而经得起考验。

　　　本文通过对以上五段婚姻的分析，归纳出五位女性分别代表的具有普遍意义的女性性格，以及她们的婚姻所代表的几种典型婚姻观，并探讨了金钱在婚姻中的作用，总结简·奥斯汀在《傲慢与偏见》中表达的婚姻观。她对于婚姻的见解至今仍有一定的指导意义，现代人依然能从中得到启示，去追求一段理想的婚姻。
