摘要：课程标准是开展教学工作的实施和评价标准，每个国家的课程标准具有共同性，也具有差异性，因为课程标准是要适应自己国家的教育发展水平的。“图形与几何”是小学数学学习中的一个重要内容，对中国与美国课程标准的“图形与几何”方面的课程标准进行比较研究，探讨国情差异对两国的教育课程标准有什么影响，两个课程标准在“图形与几何”方面有何关联性，有何差异性，为中国的小学“图形与几何”教育发展提供新的思路。
